Fresco at Kettering Medical Center

Contemporary Cafe in Medical Center

Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, OH opened in 1964 and has expanded over time. Today, this location serves as the flagship to the entire Kettering Health Network. As part of their continued growth, Kettering Medical Center recently renovated their waiting area for surgery patients and their families. ASI was contracted to provide new signage and wall graphics throughout the space, including a new cafe area.

Working with design firm E4H (Environments for Health Architecture) ASI fabricated and installed custom signage for Fresco, a cafe, that included a retail wall sign and changeable menu boards.

E4H wanted all signage to be both consistent with the surroundings by incorporating a wood grain finish and for the retail sign to be illuminated.

About the Solution

Retail Wall Sign: Sophisticated, high-tech and modern, this Aluminum Cabinet sign was painted to mimic a wood grain finish. In addition, dimension was  added with a routed face that contained Acrylic Push Thru letters and LED backlighting.

Changeable Menu Boards: Mirroring the wood grain finish of the space, the menu boards are composed of aluminum with faux wood paint and a hinged door for menu insert updates.

These thoughtful, innovative solutions will serve the Kettering Medical Center well into the future as they support patients and visitors.
